“MERAVIGLIOSO” is the theme of the 8th Edition of IF! Festival of Creativity

This November sees the return of the best Italian and international creativity at If! Italians Festival, conceived and promoted for the eighth year running by ADCI and UNA in partnership with Google. The audacity of intelligence and the madness of beauty, collectivity and inclusion, innovation and sustainability are the key words of this year’s edition which combines inspiration, training, networking and entertainment, bringing together the entire communication industry.

Milan, 14th July 2021. Scheduled for 8th-13th November, the 8th edition of IF! Festival of Creativity (www.italiansfestival.it) is organised and promoted by ADCI-Art Directors Club Italiano and UNA-Aziende della Comunicazione Unite in partnership with Google.

With a formula that combines both digital and physical, IF! 2021 will present in the first days of the week, namely Monday 8th through Thursday 11th November, a programme of training at the highest level, with courses, masters and digital workshops, with the final two days, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th, given over to the hugely popular live encounters with Italian and international guests, IF!’s classic/’historical’ formats and the grand finale with the unmissable awards ceremony of the 2021 ADCI Awards.

The detailed programme of the event will be unveiled in the autumn, though the theme selected this year by the organisers is: “MERAVIGLIOSO”. “Someone once wrote that a crisis should never be wasted. The worst mistake we could make today is trying to get back to the world we used to know.  So let’s immediately leave aside the new normal as what we really need is something totally new. A world with the courage of intelligence and the folly of beauty, in which we can once again breathe in the oxygen of ideas. Where growth and profit go hand-in-hand with community and inclusion. A world that is easier but never superficial, one that embraces innovation and knows how to drive it in a more sustainable way. This edition of IF! is a rallying call for the best communicators, painters, thinkers, artists, dreamers, engineers and architects, for anyone who wants to redesign a wonderful future, who knows how to make sense of our present”.

Following the success of last year’s first entirely digital edition, the two promoting associations have reconfirmed the exact same Organising Committee to run IF! 2021, namely Alessandra Lanza (Managing Director), Emanuele Nenna (President of UNA and CEO of Dentsu Creative), Davide Boscacci (Executive Creative Director of Publicis Italia), Carla Leveratto (Head of Creative Works at Google Italia), Marianna Ghirlanda (CEO of DLV BBDO) and Jack Blanga (Board Member ADCI). 
With the announcement of the 2021 edition, IF! has launched a creative campaign on its social media channels that communicates the enthusiasm behind the festival’s ideals and ambitions of a ‘meraviglioso’ future, from the viewpoints of communication, business and positive action. The campaign stimulates the inspiration to look within oneself to find that unique creative spark that will combine the seemingly distant and impossible to discover new ideas for the future.
