Pedro Pina is a Portuguese-born marketer who has lived and worked outside of Portugal throughout his 30+ year career. He is married and has a two year-old baby daughter, Maria.

He joined Google in 2013 as Global Client Partner overseeing a team spread around the world, dedicated to lead Google’s deep engagement with Europe’s biggest giants in advertising, such as Unilever, L’Oreal, Nestle, LVMH, VW and BMW among many others.

In July 2021 he was picked to lead YouTube’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Beyond his day job, Pedro leads for Google the LGBTQ+ chapter across the region and he is also a member of the EMEA’s DEI Council.

In 2019, he was named one of the ten most influential LGBTQ+ executives in the UK by the British LGBTQ+ awards. In the same year he was named the world’s top LGBT+ executive role model on the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executive Role Models Global List.

Pedro is a Board Member of OutRight Action International, an Advisory Member for the Outvertising Council in the UK and a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Victoria & Albert Museum of Art.

Prior to joining Google, Pedro worked at McCann Worldgroup, France Telecom, Yum, PepsiCo and P&G. 

Pedro graduated from UCP in Lisbon and has an MBA from INSEAD, Paris.
